Fuel / cycles

Fuel (cycles). A canister uses cycles to store and update your site; visits are free.

Every plan includes hosting on your site's own canister, with 10T cycles included. No monthly rent.

Ownership Transfer ($149, one time): Xorce pays for cycles until the transfer and you receive the canister with its 10T; you become the sole controller and, if you want, Xorce keeps an optional permission that you can revoke at any time. Included with Company, with a 25T reserve on top of the 10T (35T in total). If cycles drop below the minimum, the site freezes and stops responding; if they reach zero, the network deletes the canister's code and data (that's why you get the ZIP). Top up before they run out.

    Internet Identity is yours

    You own Internet Identity. Write down how you unlock it. If you lose your device or passkey, Internet Identity 2.0 lets you recover it with your recovery phrase or your recovery email, if you set them up beforehand. Xorce holds no copy and cannot recover it for you.

    Open the network panel

    Go to nns.ic0.app with that same identity. It is not a Xorce app. It is the Internet Computer panel.

    Your canister

    Canisters → your site’s canister ID. We put it on the delivery note.

  4. 04

    You are the controller

    From there you can top up cycles with your Internet Identity, if you need more than what is included. The site does not go dark because a fashionable host changed its terms.

    The public URL

    Something like something.icp0.io until your domain is pointed there.

  6. 06

    Host v1 is the frontend

    If a database was still on another builder, that part is separate. We write that on the delivery note.

  7. 07

    Helper keys

    If we used a helper key to upload files, it is written on the note. You can remove extra controllers when you no longer need updates from us.

No seed phrases on this screen. How you unlock Internet Identity is written by you, on paper, the day we hand over the keys.
